Background

New construction doesn’t always mean perfect construction. This Downtown Vancouver condo looked great at first glance, but a careful inspection revealed numerous small issues, the kind of things that should have been caught before occupancy.

Drywall: Visible seams, nail pops, and uneven texture in multiple areas
Paint: Touch-ups needed throughout, including two mismatched sections
Flooring: Gaps at transitions, squeaky boards, and an uneven threshold
Hardware: Several cabinet doors not closing properly, loose handles
Fixtures: Bathroom accessories not level, mirror not centered

The Fix

With one multi-trade visit, we addressed every item:

Skim-coated and repainted affected drywall areas
Matched and completed all paint touch-ups
Reinstalled flooring transitions with proper expansion gaps
Adjusted and tightened all cabinet hardware
Repositioned bathroom fixtures and mirror
